By registering with this site, or making any purchases on this site, you signify your acceptance of these terms and conditions of use. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions, please email us prior to the downloading or purchasing of any floor plan drawings.
Concept Plans reserves the right to modify, remove, or add to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice where after such changes become effective immediately.
Regularly make yourself familiar with the latest terms and conditions of use whenever accessing or using our website. If you do not agree with all of the terms of this agreement, you may not access, purchase products or use any part of this service.
FITNESS OF USE
The floor plan templates on Concept Plans are 2D house design templates only. All the floor plans / house design templates on conceptplans.com have been designed by architects or architectural design professionals with great care and devotion. However, because we only provide design templates and are not involved in the design process & completion of the final house design, conceptplans.com cannot make any warranty, express or implied, with respect to the content or use of our house plan designs, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose.
The definition of a ‘concept plan’ for the purposes of this website stands as follows:
- A concept plan is a ‘technically correct’ early stage basic layout plan of a house design.
- A concept plan is a document that describes generally, with non-technical sketch information only, the vision, goals and objectives of a proposed house design and does not contain technical details, section or elevations.
- A house plan in ‘concept plan format’ is an abstract idea, which contains no technical information, but is technically correct and workable / executable.
- A concept plan is a workable plan layout, but may require elaboration, alteration or expansion to convert it into a complete house design according to a specific area’s building codes and regulations.
It is important to take note that ‘Concept Plans’ (www.conceptplans.com) only provides stock house floor plan templates in various electronic formats and ARE NOTE involved in the plan design development process, elevation theming & completion of the final house design & documentation according to local area codes.
The users of our floor plan templates can import the DWG (AutoCAD) file into design software and modify it, or print to scale and draw/design on it by hand. However, the purchaser of a floor plan template may use the file in any way as he see fit for his/her own use.
It is the responsibility of the user / entity buying a plan template on conceptplans.com, to appoint an architectural / engineering professional to complete the design & documentation according to their local building standard & codes.
Our house designs are universal and suitable to various construction methods and materials. Your local Architectural designer / Builder must adjust construction details to your area and your requirements.
INDEMNIFICATION
All the floor plans / house designs are provided “as is” and with all faults without warranty of any kind either expressed or implied.
Concept Plans specifically disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use. Concept Plans does not warrant that the use of these floor plans will be to the user’s specifications or error free. Any person(s) or organization(s) making use of or relying upon this design data is responsible for confirming its accuracy and completeness according to their local standards.
All design and other information contained on the ‘Concept plans’ website only serves as templates or guidelines and is not intended to be comprehensive in the advice on offer. It is our recommendation that professional architectural advice be sought on in-depth design issues.
Concept Plans expressly disclaim all liability to any person in respect of the consequences of anything done or omitted to be done in or the purchase of house plan templates from conceptplans.com
Please be advised that the house plan files on our website are in a format that can be altered by the user. The use of the drawings either, ‘as-is’ or modification of the data will be at the user’s sole risk without liability or legal exposure to Concept Plans.
The user shall indemnify and hold harmless Concept plans from all claims, damages, losses, injuries and expenses including attorney’s fees arising out of or resulting from using or reliance upon the contents of this website and any the digital floor plans / house design templates files purchased from this website.
REFUND POLICY
Full refunds will be issued – no questions asked – in any of the following events:
- A problem occurred with the download links and a customer were not able to download the file.
- When a customer purchased the wrong product and would like to replace it for another plan of similar value.
- A successful purchase was made but our system indicates that the download link(s) were not used.
Concept Plans will allow for a full refund of any purchase from our store within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase if our system indicates that the download link(s) have not been used. To claim a refund, please contact us stating your original order number (The 6 digit code) within the email and we will process your request within 24 hours.
Kindly be aware that our house plan templates are in DWG or PDF format without any digital rights management (DRM) applied. This means that once a file is downloaded it will never expire and you will have full rights to print, copy, modify or use the content in any way. With this in mind, please understand that due to the digital, non-returnable nature of our products, we regret but refunds cannot be given for files already downloaded / used. We do however offer a free sample files available for download to view the quality, format and compatibility with your software to try out before you make any purchases.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (COPYRIGHT)
Please be advised that the Concept Plans website and all content contained therein, as well as all individual elements making up the site, is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, international treaties and/or other proprietary rights and international law.
The house plan designs and information on this website are intended solely for the use of the individual or entity that has purchased a house plan template. The house plan designs are protected under the terms of International Copyright law.
Please be hereby notified that any disclosure, copying distribution, publishing, selling, reproduction or action in reliance on the contents of this website’ s content is strictly prohibited and is unlawful.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
We endeavour to handle any enquiries or questions of our valued customers within a reasonable time frame (usually within 6 hours or less) via email. Please contact us.
We regret that due to the global nature of our customers and the low prices of our products, we cannot offer any telephonic support.
PRICE UPDATES
Due to constant international fluctuations in currency exchange rates, Concept Plans reserves the right to make changes to our various product pricing structures or provide discounts as we see fit without prior notice.
SITE OWNERSHIP
Concept Plans reserve the right to sell or buy other assets or someone else may take over the running of the Site and the Services without the members’ consent.
You acknowledge further that the legal status of Concept Plans and/or its owners may change. In these types of transaction, customer information generally is one of the assets transferred and you acknowledge that your data could be transferred as part of that process and you consent to such transfer.
In the event that Concept Plans is sold to another entity, or enters into an agreement with another company, its successor will give notice to the member who may opt out by terminating his / her account.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These terms and conditions of service constitute the entire agreement between you and Concept Plans (www.conceptplans.com), and displace all prior agreements, except as expressly provided.
This Agreement may not be modified, supplemented, or changed, and no provision herein may be deemed waived, in whole or in part, except by a written instrument.
